I’ll never understand how a substitute teacher was convicted of risking injury to minors because of porn pop-ups on a computer infected by spyware accidentally installed by the teacher she was substituting for. To make the situation crazier, the screen never faced the students, she tried to get help from other teachers and the school had allowed anti-spyware software to expire. Thankfully, instead of being sentenced this week she’s been given a new trial. Maybe now the prosecutor to admit their “expert” was clueless and drop the charges.
